FIFA 19 Upgrades Predictions, FUT 19 Ratings Refresh

FIFA 19 upgrades will be distributed based on real life performances, where players will receive new upgraded FUT cards to replicate their current form. The FIFA 19 Ratings Refresh is expected to go live around mid to late February. Check out the latest FUT 19 upgrades predictions and potential downgrades below.

FIFA 19 ratings refresh predictions are based on the best and worst performing players so far this football season. The best will be upgraded and the worst will potentially be downgraded. FIFA 19 upgrades will result in players receiving new FUT cards with improved OVR (overall) ratings and card stats. These new versions will be added to FIFA Ultimate Team packs, with all older versions remaining in the game, but no longer in packs.

Once the FUT 19 Ratings Refresh has been applied to a player, their new FUT card will generally be more expensive, this is of course providing that the player hasn't received a unfavourable position change. The extent of the price rise will be determined by the OVR rating increase and individual attribute improvements. Although the player's old card will be removed from FIFA 19 packs, the price will likely decrease due to a better version now being available (certain position changes can affect this). With this said, we recommend selling your old cards very quickly!

This release of FIFA 19 upgrades will present an easy way to make FUT coins using a particular trading method. Many players won't realise that they have packed an upgraded player and will sell them for around the same price as their previous version. This offers FUT users fantastic BIN sniping (buy it now) opportunities! The general idea is to set your price filters accordingly and snipe as many upgraded versions of certain players as you can. List your spoils for their actual values, rinse, and repeat!

When FIFA 19 was released in September, every single player in the game was given their own unique rating, with individual stats for every aspect of their game from pace to passing, dribbling to tackling, shooting and strength.

As the 2018-19 season progressed, it became clear that many of the players were overperforming compared to their individual rating.

EA Sports tracks how players perform in real life and then updates FIFA 19 accordingly so that the game reflects a player's individual ability and value.

Every season, many of the world's top performers receive winter upgrades as part of the Ratings Refresh, including Virgil van Dijk, Marco Reus and Son Heung-min.

It is not just highly-rated players who are part of the ratings refresh, however - even players in lower leagues can receive boosts to their overall statistics.

Once the transfer window closed at the end of January, EA Sports started making updates to the FIFA database.

In Ultimate Team, this sees new versions of players released in packs with their new club (and perhaps new league) replacing their previous one. In the past, they have also released new versions of transferred players during the window itself.

This season, the ratings refresh began on Friday, February 15. Just like last year, upgrades for the Premier League led the list and then additional leagues were added every two to three days. Each of the five major European leagues were released separately and then players from the rest of the world were released in a large batch at the end.

Some players also had their positions updated in addition to new clubs or updated ratings, especially if they played a lot of their games at a position other than the one assigned to them at the start of FIFA 19.

In addition, players may also have had their skill move or weak foot ratings changed. For example, Marcus Rashford received a bump in his skill move rating, while Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani's weak foot improved from three to four stars.

During the Ratings Refresh period, EA Sports announced each batch of upgraded players on their website, discussion forums and social media accounts. The first set of upgraded players were revealed on February 15, with 23 Premier League players getting new overall scores in FIFA 19. All their individual statistics are also changed to reflect their new overall rating, with some players even getting boosts to pace or finishing.

Serie A defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Kalidou Koulibaly have also seen their weak foot get stronger, going from ratings of two stars to three stars.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford leads the way when it comes to skill upgrades in the February ratings refresh.

The England international has enjoyed a new lease of life under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is now a five-star skill player in the game.

The rosters in Online Seasons and new Career Modes are automatically updated when your console connects to the EA servers.

Online Seasons squads are upgraded regularly, while you must start a new game in Career Mode for the upgrades to take effect.

Any normal cards you have in your FIFA Ultimate Team club will not be upgraded, but there is the potential that some of the special versions could be upgraded automatically. This includes Team of the Week, Ultimate Scream, FUTmas, Champions League and Europa League live editions, as well as Ones to Watch players.

However, if their base card only receives a small upgrade, there is a chance that the special card will not be upgraded.

All new players found in packs will be upgraded, but the special players in your club will only increase if an upgraded player’s new overall rating equals or surpasses his existing first Team of the Week version’s rating. If a player has multiple special edition cards, all these will be improved if they meet this criteria.

Le card verranno rilasciate in batch, ossia in gruppi, divisi per campionato, a partire da quelli della Premier League, passando poi per la Serie A, la Liga, la Ligue 1 e la Bundesliga, fino ad arrivare ad un’ultima lista che includerà quelli dei campionati “minori”.

In linea di massima dovrebbe essere seguito lo stesso meccanismo utilizzato nella scorsa stagione

Tutte le carte “Non-IF” (ossia quelle oro, argento e bronzo) già presenti nel club o sul mercato Resteranno con i valori precedenti e non verranno potenziate. Le nuove carte “Non IF” con i valori aggiornati saranno presenti nei pacchetti andando a sostituire in via definitiva quelle precedenti. In poche parole Se avete la versione base della card di un calciatore che riceverà l’upgrade purtroppo Questa resterà inalterata e se vorrete la nuova card Dovrete acquistarla sul mercato o trovarla nei pack. Diverso invece il discorso per Tutte le card speciali (non solo quelle IF del TOTW ma anche quelle del POTM della Premier League, quelle TOTGS di Champions ed Europa League o quella MOTM delle coppe nazionali) che a seconda delle situazioni, come spiegheremo in dettaglio nel punto successivo, possono o meno aumentare di valutazione. L’unico dubbio riguarda le card base della Champions League (quelle con +1 di overall rispetto alle versioni oro), novità introdotta quest’anno. Se la nuova valutazione generale di un giocatore È pari o superiore ANCHE IN UNA SOLA STATISTICA alla sua prima valutazione in forma(IF) attuale, quest’ultima verrà aggiornata di conseguenza. Importante sottolineare ancora una volta che per il termine IF va inteso in senso largo, quindi includendo tutte o quasi le versioni speciali di una card e non solo quelle del TOTW, ossia della Squadra della Settimana. Vanno incluse ovviamente anche le card rosse dei Player pick dei premi della Fut Champions Weekend League Fanno eccezione i giocatori con una valutazione più bassa che hanno ricevuto un aumento significativo alle loro statistiche per i quali (vedasi quanto accaduto con Torreira 78 che ha ricevuto un +4, ad esempio) verrà effettuato l’upgrade delle versioni speciali anche se la versione base non ha raggiunto o superato le versioni FUTMAS ed IF Naturalmente le card Ones to Watch vengono aggiornate di conseguenza, in base all’overall raggiunto dalla versione base o dall’ultima versione IF, se disponibile. L’upgrade Non si applica, alle carte di Halloween)

I punti 2 e 3, ossia quelli che riguardano le versioni IF, sono quelli che spesso generano più confusione, ed anche EA Sports ha adottato criteri differenti nel corso degli anni che non hanno di certo contribuito a fare chiarezza

In Fifa 17 ad esempio veniva seguita la tabella di progressione delle versioni IF mentre lo scorso anno in FIFA 18 le versioni speciali hanno ricevuto un upgrade Solo quando la versione base ha raggiunto o superato (anche in una sola statistica) la valutazione di quella IF, con alcune eccezioni per i giocatori che hanno avuto un incremento significativo della valutazione.

Sottolineiamo inoltre che, fatta eccezione per FIFA 17, non sono stati rilasciati Downgrades e anche quest’anno non ci saranno cali della valutazione overall dei giocatori che hanno avuto un avvio di stagione non eccezionale.

In occasione dei Winter Upgrades/Ratings Refresh vengono in genere rilasciate centinaia nuove carte su FUT che, come specificato nel paragrafo precedente, vanno a rimpiazzare nei pacchetti quelle uscite ad inizio anno. In FIFA 19 il numero di card aggiornate sarà inferiore rispetto al passato con ognuno dei campionati principali (Serie A, Premier League, Liga, Bundesliga e Ligue 1) che avrà 23 nuove card. Altrettante saranno riservate al “Resto del Mondo”

Da sottolineare che EA Sports ha ammesso di aver commesso Un errore negli Upgrades di Sommer la cui versione Headliners (che dovrebbe avere solo un punto in più rispetto alla versione IF, e quindi al massimo essere 90) è stata portata a 92 pur avendo statistiche più basse ed equivalenti ad un 90. Per “rimediare” a questo errore la card resterà così però, per i prossimi due eventuali IF che il portiere svizzero dovesse ricevere non faranno aumentare l’overall della versione Headliners ma solo le statistiche.

Come è facile immaginare, non appena vengono rilasciate, le card con l’upgrade hanno un prezzo superiore rispetto alla versione precedente, prezzo che cala man mano visto che queste ultime sono le uniche che da quel momento in poi risultano essere disponibili nei pacchetti.

Le vecchie card invece tendono ad avere un calo, tanto più pronunciato quanto maggiore è la differenza con le statistiche della nuova carta.

A suscitare però il maggiore interesse da parte degli investitori sono sopratutto le versioni IF dei giocatori che ricevono l’upgrade anche se il poco chiaro (e soprattutto variabile) meccanismo utilizzato da EA Sports negli ultimi anni può rendere leggermente più complessa del dovuto la situazione.

Come abbiamo già spiegato nei paragrafi precedenti durante i Ratings refresh in FIFA 18 le versioni “in form” (e più in generale tutte le versioni speciali ad esclusione delle Ultimate Scream), a parte rare eccezioni, hanno ricevuto l’upgrade solo se la versione base ha raggiunto o addirittura superato la valutazione dell’IF.

Tenendo ben presente questa indicazione potrebbe pertanto rivelarsi utile investire su quei giocatori la cui nuova valutazione base (dando anche un’occhiata alle prediction presenti in questa stessa guida) potrebbe salire al punto da superare quella dell’IF.

What are Winter Upgrades and how does it work in FIFA 19?

FIFA 19 Winter Upgrades means some players will be upgraded this Winter by receiving a new non-inform player card with the rating refreshed and become available in packs after it released instead of the previous card. These new cards will have the higher rating than the old ones, one or more of the six kind of stats as well as the overall of the players will be upgraded. Generally, EA will release the Winter Upgrades in January or February 2019.

Key or major players in some top leagues, players who have over two special cards, like UCL Rare, TOTW, OTW and more, as well as the young players who have brilliant performance in the world, such as Mbappe. These kind of players are more likely to get their rating refreshed.

What effect Winter Upgrades will have on FIFA 19 market?

Upgraded NIF cards will be sold at a high price at the start, such as the silver card to gold usually, need a lot of FUT coins to buy in the transfer market for the first few weeks. As players rush to buy new NIF cards, the price of old version cards will be reduced. However, if the upgraded card receives a change in position, the original card can maintain its value.

The FIFA 19 community is a hotbed of argument and oneupmanship – and never more so than when it comes to Ultimate Team winter upgrades. Now a longstanding FUT tradition, they see a selection of in-game players score ratings increases based on performances across the first half of the real-life season. As the most-watched competition in football it’s the Premier League which sparks the most debate, and that’s where GR comes in.

Below we’ve formed a team of 11 players (and seven substitutes) most likely to receive attribute increases when FIFA 19 winter upgrades drop, sometime around late January-early February. In order to spread the love, the first XI is limited to one player from each club. The FIFA 19 Winter Upgrades are almost upon us and many have been looking forward to seeing which players will get their ratings boosted or cut down. There are some players however whose rating in the game doesn’t hold a candle to his performance on the pitch. We take a look into who those players are, as they are deserving of the biggest upgrades.

5) Paco Alcacer – Current Rating: 79

The Spaniard’s rating really doesn’t do justice to his skill or career. Alcacer was virtually an unknown last season at Barcelona, but a loan move to Borussia Dortmund has showcased his brilliance as a goal-scoring virtuoso.

With an extraordinary seven goals in four Bundesliga matches, alongside more others during his call-up to the Spanish national team, it’s hard not to imagine Alcacer getting a ratings boost of at least 4 or 5 points.

4) Nicolas Pépé – Current Rating: 75

Before this season started, Nicolas Pépé was an unknown who was a target for only a few middling Premier League and LaLiga clubs. Once he got to show off his skills on the field however, he had several top European sides scrambling to sign him.

It’s time that FIFA 19 gave him his due as well. Rated at just 75, Pepe should receive a boost to at least 80, maybe even 82.

3) David Brooks – Current Rating: 69

No one really talks about David Brooks, one of the most underrated signings of the season in the Premier League. But if you see him do his magic on the pitch, you will want to tell everyone that Brooks is the real deal.

His low profile — which belies his skill —netted him a lowly FIFA 19 rating at 69. Brooks deserves a huge upgrade, at least a boost to 74, though I can see that going as high as 78. In addition, it would be interesting to see if his Silver card will be boosted to Gold in the winter upgrade as well.

2) Jadon Sancho – Current Rating: 72

The young English winger is definitely one player who is gunning for a massice upgrade. Sancho has been lighting up the Bundesliga this season as he helped lift Borussia Dortmund to the top of the league.

He currently has a 72 rating card, and while a boost to the mid-80’s may seem fitting for Sancho, a more realistic upgrade may put him at 79 or 80.

1) Krzysztof Piątek – Current Rating: 70

After being dubbed as the next Robert Lewandowski and living up to that hype, and then some, Piątek is a lock for a massive upgrade.

As the Serie A’s leading scorer — outscoring even Cristiano Ronaldo — it’s a travesty that his shooting is as low as 68. That should be corrected to at least 83, with his overall rating better suited to his real-life performances if boosted to 79 or 80.

It’s time that FIFA 19 gave him his due as well. Rated at just 75, Pepe should receive a boost to at least 80, maybe even 82. Регулярные публикации новостей об игре.
